Lighthouse came out of a real problem. While building getmorley.com I discovered the SR&ED tax credit program and realized I was leaving thousands of dollars on the table, mostly because I don't write documentation. Working solo means that kind of overhead just doesn't happen. Lighthouse is built to fix that, for me and for anyone else in the same position.

The challenge was making evidence capture feel like a natural part of how founders already work, not an additional task. Record yourself, upload a voice note, paste in messy notes. Lighthouse handles the structure so you don't have to. Lighthouse uses Groq for fast, accurate transcription, a lightweight model to clean messy notes and transcripts, and a heavier model to extract and synthesize. Different models for different jobs keeps costs down without sacrificing quality.
