01 / OVERVIEW
Morley is an external brain for people who consume more than they can retain. It turns passive reading, listening, and watching into something you can actually use.
02 / SOLUTION
The challenge wasn't capturing information, it was capturing it without adding friction. I wanted something that fit how people already work: messy notes, half-finished thoughts, voice memos in the car. Morley meets you there and does the organizing. To power the synthesis, I built a custom micro agent framework from scratch, purpose-built for how Morley processes and connects information rather than reaching for an off-the-shelf solution. The framework borrows principles from micro-services and applies them to probabilistic resolution, where the system decides the best path forward based on context rather than fixed rules, laying the groundwork for users to eventually build their own agentic workflows.
03 / TRACTION
Morley launched to a waitlist with no paid promotion. Within the first week: 12 waitlist signups and over 3,000 organic impressions driven entirely by building in public on LinkedIn.
04 / REFLECTION
Building Morley clarified something I hadn't fully articulated before: the interface is just the surface. The real product is the system underneath, how information gets structured, connected, and surfaced at the right moment. Getting that right matters more than how anything looks. The bigger lesson was simpler though. Ship it, even when you're not sure if it's useful or wanted. You won't know until it's out there.
